Tarot spread for tough times
You know how sometimes life just keeps throwing small curveballs, and on their own each one would be fine. But altogether they just feel too much? Well that has been my life recently.
I find there is usually a message, a point of learning, a shove from the universe to make changes at a time like this. When life is flowing we are walking the right path. When life is endless challenges that feel overwhelming there is always something we can do to move to an easier path.
And that is when I use my trusty Tarot deck, a favourite spread and journal. Usually with a large coffee and chocolate- it does help the process!

The magician is reminding me that I need to simplify my life, that this is part of a bigger new start for me- which does feel scary.
The Queen of Swords is a powerful check in, I need to be rigid about my time and say 'no' when I mean no.
The Hanged man is hopeful- I will have a different perspective on life when this is all over. (phew!)
I like to blend Tarot cards with a rune, the rune often offering a clear archetype or attitude that will help me to navigate a situation...

I have recently updated my website to make it easier to find my free resources on Tarot cards and runes, so if you are curious about how to integrate the runes into Tarot take a look- I cover each of the runes. I also have an updated book on the Younger Futhark runes available on Amazon.
Have an explore, have a play. The good news is there are only 16 runes in the Younger Futhark set, so they are very user friendly!
